One: rolling bottom line
The rolling bottom line is the straight line distance between the center line of the unit and the throat diameter of the flat roll (the finest part), that is, the distance between the throat diameter of the roll and the bottom plate. The height of the rolling bottom line has been determined when the unit leaves the factory. For example, the height of the rolling bottom line of 50 units is 235MM, the height of the rolling bottom line of 76 units is 265MM, and the height of the rolling bottom line of 89 units is 280MM. Different manufacturers, this data will change. The distance from the upper edge of the lower roller ring of the vertical roller to the bottom plate is also the height of the rolling bottom line (the height of the vertical roller shaft is not adjustable)
II: Initial bottom diameter and bottom diameter increase
The starting bottom diameter (throat diameter of flat roller) of each unit (if the first one is formed in the W variant, the bottom diameter is between the thickest and the thinnest) is also fixed, and each flight is increased by 0.6MM-0.8MM. The purpose of the increase is to make each flight rotate slightly faster than the previous one, which is beneficial to pipe forming.
Three: the height of the safety pad
The safety pad is a cast iron pad placed between the lower slider and the bottom beam of the memorial arch. When subjected to a relatively large impact, the middle of the pad will be pressed into the bottom to protect the shaft from damage. The height of the safety pad is also fixed, decreasing by 0.3MM-0.4MM per sorties (because the roll increases by 0.6MM-0.8MM per sorties, and the safety pad decreases by 0.3MM-0.4MM per sorties, the rolling bottom line is still at the level).
Four: the change of the bottom line of the diameter rolling when the circle changes square.
When the circle changes square, especially when the circle changes rectangular tube (flat out), the diameter should be adjusted so that the center line is unchanged and the bottom line is gradually increased. The purpose of this adjustment is to make the pipe uniform deformation, corner equal, reduce the impact of the unit. For example, for a 50*100 rectangular tube (the diameter is five flats and five stands, and the hole pattern of four or five flights of flat rollers is the same), the extrusion roller comes out as a circle with a diameter of 94-50=44MM when the diameter is set for the fourth flight (when the bottom line does not become horizontal, the upper part of the tube is pressed down 44MM, when the wall thickness is thicker, the impact force on the unit is very large, and the lower outer R angle of the lower part is higher than the outer R angle), therefore, the center line should be unchanged, that is, the lower flat roller should be gradually raised (the rolling bottom line should be gradually raised), and 22MM should be padded up at the fourth time of sizing, and the 22MM four frames should be padded equally (this is a probability algorithm, and the accurate padded data should be the variation of roller design).
