The distance between the impedance device and the welding point also affects the welding efficiency. The gap between the impedance device and the inner wall of the pipe is generally 6~15mm, and the upper limit value is taken when the pipe diameter is large. The impedance device should be placed concentrically with the pipe, and the distance between its head and the welding point should be 10~20mm. Similarly, the large value should be taken when the pipe diameter is large.
